CFAC is pleased to announce our group exhibition of 26 local artists showing artwork inspired by DC, Virginia, and Maryland. We have chosen 50 pieces from over 350 submissions to be part of our 2nd Annual DMV Exhibition.
Intaglio Without Acid: Copper Plate Engraving & Drypoint with William Demaria
This class will start with basics such as teaching students how to sharpen burins and bevel copper plates, introduce students to historic techniques, and end with applying those techniques in modern experimental processes.
Watercolor Paint Making with Earth Pigments with Lianna Zaragoza
Learn to process earth pigments for watercolor paint making and develop a personal palette of artist quality watercolor paints. In this class we will learn about foraging for pigments responsibly while developing a relationship to our natural surroundings.
Beginning Printmaking with a Print Press for Pre-Teens and Teens with Etai Rogers-Fett
This course is designed as an entry point into the fun and versatile world of printmaking beyond what is typically offered in school curriculum. Pre-teen and teen students will gain familiarity and experience with methods of relief and intaglio printmaking and learn how to print on a press
Georgetown Spring Art Walk
Join Georgetown Main Street for a celebration of spring, creativity and art at the Georgetown Spring Art Walk on March 23rd, 2024 from 12:00-5:00pm. The event will feature eight local venues showcasing a diverse range of artwork, including paintings and mixed media pieces plus art workshops and more!

The photo exhibition "Icons" explores the right to exist and to be seen, regardless of who you are. It features portraits of iconic figures – real and fictional – modeled by 21 individuals with Down Syndrome. Here, they get to act out their dreams and desires: in society, in pop culture, and in art.
