Beginning with traditional forms of drawing, this 4-week class will start by teaching comparative measurement, and the basic techniques artists have used to draw for hundreds of years.
Carve & Print: Hand Block Printing with Clare Winslow
Using Speedy Carve, a soft and flexible rubber block that's easy to work with, you'll transfer a design of your choice onto the block, carve away the negative space with lino cutters, and use a brayer and ink to pull your prints.
