We’re happy to have you as part of the 1,000+ BID membership, but let’s start with the basics. Check out our Member Resource Guide for a quick BID membership 101!
Any commercial property owner or tenant within the BID boundaries is automatically a member. There is no additional membership fee as the BID is funded through a BID property tax.
People experiencing homelessness are often, literally, overlooked. This guide offers information on what you can do for those experiencing homelessness, things to remember during outreach, and resources for hotlines, emergencies and medical situations, encampments, and local services.
When you beautify your building, it benefits the entire commercial district. We’ve gathered sign, awning and repainting resources for those who want to make some touch-ups to their businesses.
There’s always something going on at the Georgetown BID, from member meetings to community events and opportunities to connect with regional partners. Check out our 2023 Georgetown BID Calendar of Events, and mark your calendars. The Georgetown BID Board of Directors also meet six times per year. Learn more about the Board of Directors meetings here.
We look forward to working with you throughout the year! For additional events throughout the commercial district, visit our consumer-facing Event Calendar.
