The joint crowdfunding campaign supports Georgetown BID’s employee relief fund & Halcyon’s impact-based start-ups, today through #GivingTuesdayNow (May 5).
The BID is awarding $150,000 in emergency grants to the Georgetown commercial district’s unemployed, and soliciting donations to reach hundreds more who are still in need.
11 commissioned works will be on display during the Georgetown BID’s annual free outdoor public light art experience, also to feature GLOW promotions throughout the commercial district, A Book Hill Holiday event, walking tours and more.
More than 30 retail shops and restaurants to offer in-store promotions + $50 golden ticket giveaway for five lucky shoppers.
The two-day scheduled event invites interior designers, design enthusiasts and shoppers alike to visit 11 participating design and home furnishings stores for a host of design events—plus a collective Fall Cocktail Crawl Nov. 7 from 5-8 pm.
More than 20 boutiques, cafés, salons and galleries are offering special promotions, live music, fall treats and more at the Georgetown Fall Market, October 4-5 in the charming Book Hill area of Georgetown.
