Georgetown Main Street (GMS) is launching another reason for shoppers to make Wisconsin Avenue their destination for unique, local goods: Pop Georgetown will open December 15 at 1631 Wisconsin Avenue, with art, accessories, apparel, home decor, and personal care products produced by businesses located in the DC area.
In addition to support local businesses by introducing their products to new audiences, Pop Georgetown will:
• Activate vacant and underutilized space to revitalize Georgetown's prime retail corridor
• Assist local businesses with scaling their brands, visibility, and revenue potential
• Facilitate positive relationships between developers and landlords and local businesses in order to meet needs for affordable commercial space
• Compliment existing retail by creating a unique destination for locals and tourists alike
“We are excited at the opportunity to bring new and local offerings to Georgetown. The pop-up will activate a vacant retail space and supports the existing retail along the corridor by increasing foot traffic,” said GMS Executive Director, Jessie Himmelrich.
Hours of operation will be Friday 11 am - 7 pm, Saturday 11 am - 5 pm, and Sunday 12 pm - 5 pm.
