Phase Two: Recreation in Georgetown

Welcome back – we’ve missed you!

Under Phase Two of DC’s reopening, fitness studios, parks, libraries, museums, and other indoor activities are all permitted to open with capacity limits in place. Additionally, our businesses are adhering to rigorous safeguards and social distancing to ensure you are as safe and comfortable as possible while enjoying Georgetown’s recreational opportunities.

Customers will be required to do their part by wearing masks, and keeping a social distance of 6-ft. or more from employees and other customers, whenever possible.

Below are the list of Georgetown recreation and cultural activities now open, with more to come!

Museums

Dumbarton House / Timed tickets and masks will be required. Virtual group tours also available.

Tudor Place / The National Historic Landmark is open to the public Thursdays through Sundays from 12- 4 pm. Garden entry is free, but you must reserve a timed ticket prior to your visit.

Outdoor Recreation

Bicycle Pro Shop / Bike purchases & repair. M-F, 10am – 7pm; Sa, 10am – 6pm; Sun, 10am – 5:pm

Big Wheel Bikes / Bike rentals, purchases & repair. M, 11am – 6pm; Tu-F, 10am – 7pm; Sa, 10am – 6pm; Su, 10am – 5pm

District Cycle Works / Open by appointment for bicycle and gear consults.

Georgetown Waterfront Park / Please wear a mask and observe social distancing!

Key Bridge Boathouse / Open by reservation only for kayak, paddleboard, and canoe rentals, with self-launch also available.

Thompson Boat Center / Open by reservation only for rowing scull, kayak, and paddleboard rentals, with self-launch also available.

Trek Bikes / Open in-store for bikes, and bike apparel, equipment, and service. Private in-store shopping appointments also available. M-F, 11am – 6pm; Sa, 10am – 5pm; Su, 12pm – 5pm.

Fitness Studios

barre3 Georgetown / In-studio classes.

Definitions DC / Personal training sessions available.

Fitness Together / In-studio training available.

Kinesis / Outdoor fitness services available. Kinsesis instructors will come to you, bringing all the gear necessary for pilates, personal training, boxing, or family sessions. In-home training also available, plus equipment rental.

Activities

Escape Room Live / Your group will have its own private Escape Room to yourselves, where you can pick from Curse of the Mummy, The Pirate’s Curse, Titanic, The Cabin, or Odditorium Emporium Shopping Spree themes. Contactless check-in is available and each room will be sanitized in between adventures.

Paddywax Candle Bar / Open for candle pick-ups/refill drop-offs, and future workshop reservations! Th-F, 12pm – 8pm; Sa, 11am – 8pm; Su, 12pm – 6pm

Pinstripes / Bowling and bocce open! Visit website to make your reservations.
