Summer Art Camp at Washington Printmakers Gallery

If you’re looking for an organized activity for your kids, Washington Printmakers Gallery (1675 Wisconsin Ave NW) is hosting a six-week art summer camp with Sadie Randal. Students ages 10 to 14 will learn the basics of carving linoleum to create various sized prints and the fun of printmaking, make something they are proud of, become storytellers, develop creativity and passion, build confidence through public speaking as they present their work, and develop intuition for giving feedback, critique, and praise. The camp runs June 24 – August 2.

If you’re looking for an adult class this spring, offerings include Introduction to Photoshop, Monotype and Mixed Media, Watercolor Techniques, Upgrading IKEA Frames, Fundamentals of Drawing, and much more.
