Soccer-Themed Exhibit & Art Talk

Join Washington Printmakers Gallery (1675 Wisconsin Ave NW) for an artist talk on the new exhibit, Lucky Pitch & Arches, by Eric Bushee. The first NYC-style, cutting edge exhibit of its kind at the gallery, it features six prints that are each associated with a projected video of a soccer goal being scored. The prints are meant to express the industrial aesthetic of printmaking, which is repetition. The first artist talk is tonight from 5:30 pm – 7 pm; if you can’t make that, there’s a second one – also featuring the video artist – on Thursday, February 2 at the same time. The exhibit runs through February 5.
