Pop-Up Flower Truck + Final Weekend for Book Hill in Bloom

General   •   April 7, 2021

To celebrate the Cherry Blossom Festival, Georgetown Main Street is hosting Blue Ribbon Floral April 10 at its first official Second Saturday event of the year. The festive flower truck will be stationed in front of Marston Luce (1651 Wisconsin Avenue) from 11 am – 3 pm. After picking a spring bouquet, wander over to Washington Printmakers Gallery (1641 Wisconsin Avenue) to watch carving, inking and printing demonstrations, meet the artists, and enjoy their current Metamorphosis exhibit.

All weekend long, more than 25 additional Book Hill small businesses are celebrating all things cherry blossom by offering Book Hill in Bloom specials and discounts. Visit our website page for the full list of offerings, then end your Georgetown day with a picture in front of the giant cherry blossom sculpture at Book Hill Park (near the intersection of Wisconsin Ave & Reservoir Road) by artist Cory Oberndorfer.
