Hobo, a leather accessories brand, has inked a five-year, 1,000-square-foot lease at 1265 Wisconsin Avenue NW in Georgetown, marking its entry into the Washington, D.C. market.

Restoration of the C&O Canal through Georgetown, a project being funded by the National Park Service, gets underway early next year, dry-docking the guided tour boat until 2025. But, tours will still operate until the end of October.

Time is running out if you want to take a boat ride on the C&O Canal, as park officials are preparing to winterize the canal.

Your next chance won’t be until 2025, when restoration work on the canal is finished.
