Visit Our Magical Outdoor Lantern Installation

Take all of your greatest hopes and dreams and head to the Georgetown GLOW light art installation The Wishes Within to release them into the Universe. Located at Georgetown Lutheran Church (1556 Wisconsin Ave NW), this installation by Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based Curated Creative celebrates the tradition of addressing the negative aspects of life by lighting sky lanterns – a practice rooted in Asian culture that has been honored across the world. In this interactive installation, you’re encouraged to hold a wish in your heart, step inside the marked circle and bring it to life as the lantern above you lights up. Tag your posts with #thewisheswithin to share your wish with the artists!
