Join Shop Made in DC (1304 Wisconsin Ave NW) for a Tiramisu-Making Workshop with Italian-trained chef and coffee sommelier Antonia Petaccio on Sunday, August 16 from 3pm – 5pm. Enjoy a cup of hand-brewed coffee from the local Lost Sock Roasters while Antonia discusses how certain coffees can best complement desserts and baking. You’ll use Antonia’s traditional recipe she perfected in Calabria, Italy, and learn the proper technique to build the mascarpone meringue cream. Have a slice with your coffee and take the rest home — along with a bag of Lost Sock coffee, and a copy of Antonia’s tiramisu recipe.
