Jane Austen Ball at Dumbarton House

Join Dumbarton House (2715 Q St NW) and the International Club of DC for a Jane Austen Ball on Friday, October 23 from 6:30pm – 10pm. Pretend you’re in a novel and embrace that main character energy for a night of classical music, wine, dessert, and dancing. One-hour waltz lessons begin at 6pm or 7pm, depending on your reservation time, with wine and desserts available beforehand if you need a little liquid courage. The ball begins at 8pm; stroll through the manicured gardens in between dances and take a tour of the historic mansion. Regency attire is welcome but not required, and you don’t need a date or a dance partner to attend the ball. There are only a few tickets left; buy yours now!
