Free Walking Tours of the C&O Canal

Join a current Park ranger every Saturday in October for one of Georgetown Heritage’s free hour-long tours along the C&O Canal in Georgetown.

Tours begin at 11 am and 2:30 pm from the Visitor’s Center (1057 Thomas Jefferson St NW). Explore the rich history of the C&O Canal, discover the stories and mysteries hidden in the stones, and hear about the lives of “canawlers” while enjoying a stroll.
