Dancing On the Waterfront Now Through September

Our Dancing on the Waterfront summer series is now running through September, so you have a few more chances to join us on Tuesdays from 6pm – 9pm in Georgetown Waterfront Park. On September 1, we’re featuring hand dancing for the first time — a style that was born in DC’s Black community in the mid-1950s as an evolution of earlier swing dances, and is now recognized as DC’s official dance. Return on September 8 for Latin dancing, and visit our website for the remaining schedule. All skill levels and ages are welcome.
