"WEAR TO STORYTELLING": FANGYÁN explores the intersection of East and West in the fashion industry with innovative designs and traditional craftmanship made in China. The DC-based fashion curator brings China’s best high-end indie designers to the States. A couple of years ago, during the height of the pandemic, Simin Zhu renamed her fledgling company. She came up with FANGYÁN (www.fangyanstores.com) to pay homage to her aim of curating pieces from China with a culturally anchored point of view.
