Nat Cannon, PLA, leads projects to design, implement, and manage improvements to the public spaces throughout Georgetown to provide safe, attractive, and active places for residents, workers, and visitors. Her role seeks to reflect Georgetown’s unique narrative into the built environment focusing on user experience and aesthetics. Previously, she worked in private sector design consulting as a landscape architect/urban designer and in public sector municipal planning and historic preservation. Nat received her Bachelor’s in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning from Utah State University, and her Master’s in City and Metropolitan Planning from the University of Utah, with an urban design emphasis / certificate. She lives in Ballston, Va., with her husband. As a transplant, she enjoys exploring East Coast cities and National Parks.
