As the BID’s Executive Assistant, Louisa is responsible for keeping the organization running smoothly by supporting the CEO, BID Staff, and the Board of Directors. Louisa came to the BID from The Office of the General Counsel at the Brookings Institution. Her duties included executive office administration, strategic planning, compliance, recordkeeping, human resource and technology matters, and special projects. Prior to Brookings, Louisa worked in the finance and legal sectors, supporting high-level executives and core processes including employee engagement, recruitment and onboarding, travel and expense management. Louisa holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice with a minor in Law and Society from the University of Maryland, College Park.
