Viral Bagel Shop Opens in Georgetown

PopUp Bagels opens Friday, April 10 at 1078 Wisconsin Ave NW – its first location in DC. The Connecticut-based business has made a name for itself on social media with hot bagels right out of the oven that customers rip and dip into a side schmear. (No slicing here.) The menu includes plain, everything, poppy seed, salt, and sesame bagels, and plain and scallion schmears – plus weekly specials like pimento cream cheese and “hotel” butter. Stop by the grand opening from 8am – 11am and receive giveaways from Lil Sweet Treat, La Colombe, and Natalie’s Orchard Island Juice. A DJ will turn up the morning energy.
