Tudor Place Reopens for the Season

Tudor Place – a model of Federal-period architecture that sits on 5.5 acres in Georgetown – reopened this week for guided house tours and self-guided garden visits. Guided tours of the historic house are offered on the hour, and advance registration is encouraged. If you’re interested in a Tudor Place workshop, head there Saturday, February 11 from 1 pm – 2:30 pm to learn about the history and etiquette of sending Valentine’s Day cards. Discover how common symbols such as hearts and birds became popular and learn the proper way to format a card, then put your knowledge into action and design your own cards.
