Spring & Cherry Blossom-Inspired Drinks

JINYA Ramen Bar (1525 Wisconsin Ave NW) is welcoming spring with a limited-time cocktail, the Sakura Spring, available March 20 – April 12. Made with Roku Gin, yuzu, cherry syrup, hibiscus tea, and fee foam, this light and refreshing drink is inspired by the blooms.

Over at L’Avant-Garde (2915 M St NW), try their seasonal Kintsugi Manhattan, inspired by the Japanese philosophy of repairing broken pottery with gold to highlight its beauty. The cocktail blends Toki Japanese Whisky with Mancino Sakura Vermouth and Peychaud bitters, and is garnished with a Luxardo cherry wrapped in edible gold leaf.

If you’re looking for something seasonal but non-alcoholic, Blank Street Coffee (3201 Prospect St NW) is featuring a Lemon Loaf Matcha, Cherry Glaze Matcha and Cherry Glaze Cold Brew on their spring menu.
