SHE:DC Celebrates Women’s History Month

Shop Made in DC is celebrating Women’s History Month with the return of SHE:DC, an initiative to illuminate women and non-binary entrepreneurs. They’ll host a variety of events, including a curated art show featuring 450 art pieces from 183 DMV women and non-binary artists, panel discussions, popups with emerging businesses, and a final pitch competition for the SHE:DC Microgrant. The Georgetown location (1304 Wisconsin Ave NW) is hosting a SHE NIGHT OUT sip and shop fundraiser on Thursday, March 6 from 5-8pm. The private she-only shopping event is all about supporting women businesses. For a $30 donation you can enjoy cocktails and cake while receiving 15% off all women makers and artists. Each shopper will leave with a complimentary SHE:DC gift bag filled with goods from women makers.
