Peacock Cafe Celebrating Persian New Year

Peacock Cafe (3251 Prospect St NW) is celebrating Nowruz – the Persian New Year, on the first day of spring – with 13 days of special menu items. Stop by the Georgetown restaurant that’s been in business for more than 30 years for Nowruz classics, including a green herb rice with fish dish. Chef Maziar Farivar has previously cooked his Persian New Year dinners for the Obamas, and at the James Beard House.
