New Art Exhibition & Artist Talks at Klagsbrun Studios

General   •   April 30, 2025

Join Klagsbrun Studios (1662 33rd St NW) for the opening reception of UnFoldingS on Saturday, May 3 from 5-7pm. The group exhibition features new works by Enise Carr, Judy Greenberg, Sharapat Kessler, and Julie Wolfe. Curated by Vesela Sretenović, the exhibit will be on view May 3 – May 23 (Fridays and Saturdays, 12–6pm, and by appointment). Two artist talks will be held on May 10 and 17, discussing the dual meanings of the exhibition. Un-folding functions as an active verb, pointing to the physical and conceptual acts of bending, twisting, curving, collapsing, disassembling, constructing, and combining – practices that characterize the creative process behind the works. In contrast, UnfoldingS as a noun refers to the visual presence of the works. (Photo from a previous reception)
