Monoprint and Gel Printing Workshop

Join Washington Printmakers Gallery (1675 Wisconsin Ave NW) for a Monoprint and Gel Printing workshop on Sunday, November 2 from 10am – 2pm. Instructor Sarah Barzmehri will help you create expressive prints using acrylic paint on glass and gel plates, in both black & white and color. Drawing inspiration from abstract expressionist artists, the process encourages accessing the subconscious and embracing spontaneity. The workshop emphasizes the creative journey and the joy of unexpected outcomes. Participants will have the opportunity to experiment with diverse techniques, materials, and sources of inspiration, making each print unique.
