General   •   June 12, 2025

We’re a little more than a week away from Georgetown’s second edition of Fête de la Musique – World Music Day on Saturday, June 21. Hosted by the Georgetown BID, Georgetown Heritage and Villa Albertine, the free event will feature more than 40 musical acts performing in 20+ outdoor locations throughout Georgetown’s commercial district (3–7pm), or at one of three stages at La Maison Française (6–10pm). Locations include Georgetown Waterfront Park, atop the Canal Boat at Lock 4, Grace Church lawn, Book Hill Park, and the Embassy of France (4101 Reservoir Rd NW), among others. Whether you’re into R&B, Americana, jazz, bluegrass, classical, indie, rock, or music with Latin, Brazilian, African, Southeast Asian or French influences, there’s something for everyone at this global celebration of music.

We’re announcing the artists and performance schedule in the coming days; stay tuned!

In the meantime, RSVP through our Eventbrite, and email events@georgetownheritage.org if you’re interested in volunteering.
