Georgetown Rare Book Fair

Search for literary treasures and browse rare books at the City Tavern Preservation Foundation’s inaugural Georgetown Rare Book Fair, May 13 – 15 at City Tavern Club (3206 M St NW). Meet antiquarian booksellers from across the country beginning Friday from 6 pm – 8 pm, when you’ll have first access to the books on sale, plus wine, beer, special literary-themed cocktails, canapes, and musical entertainment. Cocktail attire is requested for that evening. On Saturday and Sunday, come browse, learn about book collecting, meet book dealers, and buy rare books. An expert appraiser will be on hand to value any books that you bring.
