Georgetown Lebanese Festival This Weekend

Head to the lawn at Grace Church (1041 Wisconsin Ave NW) on Saturday, May 20 from 11 am – 6 pm and eat to your heart’s content at the Georgetown Lebanese Festival. Celebrate Lebanon with live DJ music, cooking with Chef Julie Taboulie, and wine tastings. Other festival highlights include traditional Lebanese dance, belly dancing, and a kids area with face painting, Arabic writing, and games. Food and beverage vendors will be onsite – selling everything from shawarma, to falafel, Lebanese mezze, sweets, adult beverages, and coffee – in addition to a mini-ethnic market. Proceeds from the event will support farmers and women food producers in Lebanon.
