General   •   July 1, 2025

Blues Alley – America’s oldest, continuously operating jazz supper club – is celebrating its 60th anniversary this month. According to Blues Alley, the club was founded in 1965 by traditional jazzist Tommy Gualtney and quickly became a must-stop for famed touring musicians. July show highlights include A Century Of Ellington this weekend with The Eric Felten Dektette (July 5-6), and A Night of R&B featuring two vocalists singing classic hits from several iconic divas (July 16). The 60th anniversary will officially be honored the week of July 21; don’t miss Grammy-nominated and Tony award-winner Melba Moore performing July 24-25.
