Beginning Printmaking with a Press for Kids and Teens (8 Weeks)

This course is designed as an entry point into the fun and versatile world of printmaking beyond what is typically offered in school curriculum. Pre-teen and teen students will gain familiarity and experience with methods of relief and intaglio printmaking and learn how to print on a press.

Bike to Work Day

Each May, nearly 17,000 area commuters celebrate bicycling as a clean, fun and healthy way to get to work during. The Georgetown BID sponsors a “pit stop” in Georgetown Waterfront Park where commuters can enjoy complimentary refreshments, snacks and bicycle-themed giveaways.
