Virtual Exhibition: Steven Walker’s This Round’s on Me

This Round’s on Me is a personal series showing the fragility Steven faced with depression and anxiety. The objects within the glass focus on pleasant, successful, or even funny memories in his life. Walker’s expressive brushstrokes paired with an emotive color palette, convey the deepest feelings of Walker’s suffering. Through these glasses, the viewer will see hope amidst the darkness, and the play between light and dark that Walker experiences. This year Steven has pledged to be more transparent about his condition in his art. He wants to show those suffering from depression that they are not alone.
