Clothing repair and mending is not only a valuable skill for day-to-day life, but it can also save you money and reduce your environmental footprint! Join Evan Ibrahim and Tribute Collective for a “Creative Mending” Workshop. In this workshop, we’ll review different techniques and applications to mend small tears, holes, or rips in clothing. Hopefully, you’ll leave inspired to mend a piece of clothing from home — we’ll cover the whole process, from deciding what sort of stitch is best for the job, how to manage different types of fabric as well as answering any questions you have along the way. Bring along one item of clothing for a mending consultation at the end of class!
