Travel Collage with Jan Zastrow

Make souvenir collage art as keepsakes of your trip at the Washington Printmakers Gallery! Come join us for an afternoon of art-making where you’ll learn how to collage your travel memories into something you can share with friends and family. After introductions, we’ll start with a warm-up and then move on to basic collage: deciding on the background, adding compositional elements–maps from your trip, brochures, postcards, photos, travel lists, etc. Then we’ll add textural layers for interest and a finishing flourish to our travel memento “masterpieces”!
