Joyful Basic Origami Classes for Children with Naoko Kamioka

During five origami classes, children will learn a set of basic folds and bases. Applying the learned folds/bases, the children create fun and interesting figures.

Syllabus:

Oct 6: Diagonal and Kite Folds and make the dog and cat faces, swan, and ice cream.

Oct 20: Book and Cabinet Folds and make a house, piano and a rabbit face.

Oct 27: Create a Halloween collage with origami pumpkin, ghost, bat and a spider web.

Nov 3: Square Base and make a simple paper crane with flipping wings and Pikachu face.

Nov 10: Water Bomb Base and make a star, a rocket to fly, a big Samurai helmet using news paper.

Children: Ages 5 – 10
