DCFM Jazz Series – Amanda Gardier

Blues Alley is the nation’s oldest continuing jazz supper club, offering its patrons a unique ambiance, reminiscent of the jazz clubs of the 1920’s and 30’s. Amanda Gardier is a composer, and alto saxophonist who juxtaposes the calmness of lush harmonies and cyclical melodies with the intensity of complex rhythms and fiery improvisation.
