C&O Canal Boat Tours

10:00 AM - 4:00 PM C&O Canal

Boat rides are available five days a week, offering one-hour guided historical tours along the first mile of the C&O Canal National Historical Park (NHP). Visitors will learn about the fascinating history, technology and culture of the Canal, and the surprising stories of the people who lived, worked and played here over the past two centuries.

Hidden Gems of Georgetown: An Exclusive Tour of Washington’s Oldest Tavern

Learn the secrets behind the stately brick homes, idyllic gardens, and cobblestone streets of Washington's oldest neighborhood. Then you're invited for an insider tour of a little-known gem of M Street, the exclusive City Tavern Club.

Voices of Zion Immersive Music-Theatre Experience

7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Alliance for New Music Theatre has partnered with Mt Zion - Female Union Band Historic Memorial Park, Inc. for the creation of Voices of Zion, an original immersive music-theatre experience opening as a world premiere this May. They are offering the work to honor Dumbarton United Methodist Church in its 250th anniversary year and Mount Zion United Methodist Church, the area’s oldest African American congregation. Audiences are invited to dig deeper into some of the complex history of African American Georgetown.
