What's the purpose of a Presidential inauguration, if not for shopping and dining specials?

No matter where you fall on the political spectrum, Georgetown has something for everyone. Added bonus: It's just far enough away from the crowds that will flock downtown that third week in January.

Whether you're interested in a self-guided Kennedy walking tour, a selfie in the booth at Martin's Tavern where JFK proposed to Jackie, a meal at one of the Obama's favorite restaurants, or just an inauguration-themed pizza inspired by Thomas Jefferson, Georgetown packs a presidential punch that spans the decades.
