Heiner Contemporary: "Rise and Shine"
Heiner Contemporary (1675 Wisconsin Avenue, NW) is delighted to present Rise and Shine: New Paintings by Patrick Brennan, a solo exhibition by the Brooklyn based painter at an opening reception on Friday, January 11th, from 6 to 8 p.m. On view until February 23rd, the paintings in Rise and Shine demonstrate Brennan's ability to create exuberant abstractions through the play of layering, camouflage and cropping as well as an increased interest in kaleidoscopic color and manufactured shades that inject humor into his works.
