GW Rowing Invitational This Weekend
The George Washington Rowing Invitational, the largest collegiate rowing competition in the Washington Metropolitan area, launches on Friday, April 11 for the first of two days of racing on the Potomac River race course. GW’s rowing programs will host the event which began in 1988, and welcome boats from Georgetown, Navy, Duquesne, Saint Joseph’s, MIT, Virginia, Holy Cross and UC San Diego. Racing commences on Friday, April 11 from 1 to 4 p.m., and resumes with two sessions on Saturday, April 12 from 8 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m., followed by an awards ceremony.
