ARCHER: Jacobsen Architecture Event
ARCHER (1027 33rd Street, NW) is proud to kick off the year with a lecture and presentation by acclaimed architects Hugh Newell Jacobsen FAIA, and Simon Jacobsen, principals at Jacobsen Architecture, on Thursday, January 24th, from 6 to 8 p.m. The conversation will revolve around the origins and ethos of the firm's highly acclaimed recent furniture collection at ARCHER in relation to their numerous projects around the world. Best known for their modern pavilion-based residences, Jacobsen Architecture's grand yet intimately scaled pavilions combine elements of early American architecture with modern unadorned façades, open-plan interiors and emphasis on indoor-outdoor living.
